Understanding Behavioral Theories in Classroom Environments
Establishing a good classroom learning environment involves understanding how students respond to situations and how their behaviors are developed. Two significant theories that describe the process are Classical Conditioning and Operant Conditioning. These theories describe how students associate and modify their behaviors based on experiences. Classical Conditioning, developed by Ivan Pavlov, describes how students learn emotional responses to stimuli.
